COVID-19 resources for local agencies

Lorain County Public Health wants to make it easier for you to share correct and credible health information at your business, faith center, or agency. New ready-to-go COVID-19 resources are added to this page often.

You should get the COVID-19 vaccine even if you had COVID-19 disease in the past year. Experts do not yet know how long you are protected following COVID -19 disease from contracting it again. Studies have shown that vaccination provides a strong boost in protection in people who have recovered from COVID-19. Current information suggests that COVID-19 vaccines offer protection against most variants (CDC). We're not sure if having had COVID-19 disease protects you from COVID-19 variants.
