Beat the heat

 When the temperature gets too high it could make you and your loved ones sick. You can become ill if your body can’t keep itself at a cool enough temperature. First, remember to NEVER leave children or pets in vehicles when it’s hot. Even if the windows are cracked open, vehicle temperatures can rise almost 20 degrees within the first 10 minutes.

As you prepare children for summer activities, protect their health by getting them vaccinated. Lorain County Public Health (LCPH) offers recommended vaccines for children, teens, and adults at locations across the county.
