Experience a guided hike of the north loop of Charlemont in the evening. There will be creek crossings and mud so please be sure to wear tall, waterproof boots and bring water with you. Yoga uses breathing techniques, exercise and meditation to improve health and happiness. Class is held at the United Way of Greater Lorain County office in the Ridge Tool Community Engagement Space. Class participants will be socially distanced within the provided space.
Tai Chi is a series of Qigong (Chi Gung) movements that are gentle, flowing, meditative and healing. It can be done sitting or standing by people of every age and physical condition. Join instructor Annamarie and enjoy Tai Chi on the patio/observation deck of the French Creek Nature Center (will meet indoors if weather is inclement). Preregister by the day of the program for one or more in a series each Saturday morning
Learn about the effects of invasive species on local plant and animal communities. We'll search for some of these species found in our own park and talk about how you can help in your own community. Meet at flagpole in front of building. Preregistration requested but not required by 8/22.
