Request for Qualifications: Lorain County SS4A Comprehensive Safety Action Plan
Lorain County Public Health (LCPH) is looking for engineering and other professional firms and individuals to create a comprehensive road safety action plan. LCPH received a Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation (US DOT). This grant will help specific local governments effectively identify and address transportation safety concerns through a road safety action plan. The plan should help them get ready for potential implementation funding.

Proposals are due by email to kbray@LorainCountyHealth.com no later than September 29, 2023 by 5 p.m. EDT. Proposals received after this date and time will not be considered.
Respondents must also examine and become familiar with the SS4A grant program requirements established by US DOT Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Funding for the project has been made possible through the SS4A grant and is contingent on strict conformance to the guidelines set forth by FHWA. Respondents must comply with the stated Federal Grant Requirements.
