Vaccines for Children

Lorain County Public Health can vaccinate your child for all recommended vaccines. LCPH participates in the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program. Your children are eligible for the VFC Program if they are younger than 19 years of age and are: on Medicaid, uninsured, underinsured*, American Indian or Alaska Native.

No child is turned away from vaccination for inability to pay.

It is important for children 0-5 years of age to stay on time with their vaccines.  We are taking steps to ensure the safety and well-being of Lorain County residents and staff.  We will continue to meet the needs of our clients.

Click here to find a clinic or call 440-284-3206 to make a vaccine appointment.

Both appointments and walk-ins are accepted. Bring a vaccine record if available, insurance card, and a photo ID. Cash, check and VISA or MasterCard are accepted. We bill most private insurances, Medicaid and Medicare. Call your insurance company for details.
