At the 2018 Lorain County Fair, Lorain County Public Health (LCPH) will maintain their tradition to protect fairgoers’ health at Ohio’s second largest county fair with:

  • Hand sanitizer supplied across the fairgrounds to prevent the spread of disease.
  • Food safety checks and education with food vendors.
  • “Walk for Water,” a mini walking challenge that rewards walkers with an ice-cold bottle of water.

LCPH will greet fairgoers and answer public health questions in their tent behind building 17 at the Lorain County Fair. This year LCPH will highlight how they protect your well-being, prevent disease, and promote overall health. They will also share how they work with community partners to meet the needs of Lorain County.

The 173rd Lorain County Fair will be held Aug. 20 through Aug. 26 at 23000 Fairgrounds Road, Wellington, OH 44090.
