Help Stop Overdoses: naloxone kits at no cost

Posted on: March 9, 2018

Nasal naloxone is available for parents, partners, and anyone else who wants to prevent an opioid overdose of a loved one. Project DAWN is an overdose education and naloxone distribution program. Naloxone (sometimes called Narcan) is a medication that can reverse an overdose caused by an opioid drug. When given, naloxone restores breathing and blocks the drug’s effects on the brain-- it often prevents death.
