Good health makes it possible to spend more quality time with loved ones, and do other things you’re passionate about - like playing with grandchildren or taking a trip to the Grand Canyon. Learn how to stay healthy and independent at a YMCA healthy lifestyle class, known as the Diabetes Prevention Program.

  • Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018 at 6 p.m. at Lorain County Health and Dentistry, 3745 Grove Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44055
  • Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018 at 9:45 a.m. at First Congregational Church, 36363 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville, Ohio 44039
  • Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at General Johnnie Wilson Middle School, 2700 Washington Avenue, Lorain Ohio 44052

In the Diabetes Prevention Program, a trained coach personalizes activities to help participants learn how to eat healthy and be more active. Up to 15 participants work together to lose a modest amount of weight and become more active.
