Good health makes it possible to spend more quality time with loved ones, and do other things you’re passionate about - like playing with grandchildren or taking a trip to the Grand Canyon. Learn how to stay healthy and independent at a YMCA healthy lifestyle class, known as the Diabetes Prevention Program.
Discover more about the Diabetes Prevention Program at an information session near you:
In the Diabetes Prevention Program, a trained coach personalizes activities to help participants learn how to eat healthy and be more active. Up to 15 participants work together to lose a modest amount of weight and become more active.
Generous scholarships are available to cover program fees, which include a YMCA membership. Contact the YMCA at 440.574.0580 or healthyliving@clevelandY.org. Visit ClevelandYMCA.org/Diabetes-Prevention.html for more information.
