Food Safety Training: Level 2

Restaurants, grocery stores, and other places that sell food follow the Ohio Food Code. If your establishment has a risk level 3 or 4 license, one staff member per facility must complete Level 2 Certification in food protection in order to follow the Ohio Food Code. Follow these steps to get trained:

  • Take the online course:
    • Go to ServSafe.com
    • Point to the “Purchase” tab
    • Click on “ServSafe® Manager”
    • Under SERVSAFE FOOD SAFETY PRODUCTS, click on “Manager Online Training and Certification Exams”
    • Click on “ServSafe® Manager Online Course”
    • Click “Add to Cart”
    • Create a new profile if you do not have one
    • Follow the directions from there to purchase the online course
    • Fax us your Record of Training at 440-322-6010
  • Call 440-322-6367 to reserve a spot for the following exam: Monday, December 4, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Sheffield Lake Community Center, 4575 Lake Rd. Sheffield Lake, OH 44054
