Adult Flu Immunizations

Flu immunizations are offered to Lorain County residents 18 years of age and older for a fee. No immunizations will be given to children under the age of 18.

Adult Health Clinics

The services at Adult Health Clinics are for anyone ages 55 and over, regardless of income, but must be residents of area served by the Lorain County General Health District. The clinics are staffed by Registered Nurses, specializing in geriatrics, and by Clinic Health Aides. For appointments, call (440) 322-6367.

• Vision and hearing
• Information to help in adopting a healthier life-style
• Diabetic screening
• Foot Checks
• Self-breast exam lesson
• Colon cancer screening

• Information about local services

We also offer home visits to those who have limited mobility. Your visit is conducted by a registered nurse. At that time, you will receive information on improving your health, as well as referrals to get the care you need. These visits are free of charge.

Heart Health Clinics

• Free monthly Walk-in Clinics held at five area locations
• No appointment needed
• Blood Pressure Screening
• Information and advice on risk factors
• Answer health-related questions
• Refer to community resources
• Conducted by Public Health Nurses

Heart Health Clinics provide services for residents of the area served by the Lorain County General Health District, regardless of income.
