Keep moving this spring with Fit Walks! Get walking at indoor locations throughout March. Dates for Fit Walks this month are:
“Walking helps to decrease blood pressure, reduce body fat, lower the risk of heart disease, and reduce stress levels while your body releases natural endorphins that promote the feeling of happiness,” said David Covell, RS, MPH, Lorain County General Health District health commissioner.
No membership is required and all ages are invited to join. Lorain County residents are welcome to join a walk whenever you have time in your schedule; a weekly commitment is not necessary.
